It was while attending Boston University as a physics and astronomy student that Chris first began developing projects for the internet. As a Research Assistant in the BU Center for Space Physics, he developed a web site that allowed scientists to download decades worth of historical magnetospheric satelite data from the 60's and 70's. This two-year project included not only writing the code for cleaning, processing, analyzing, and plotting the data, but also developing the Perl-based interface for selecting and downloading specific data sets. In addition to Chris' technical education, he also had a life long interest in art and design. Growing up with a graphic designer father, he had been pursuing digital design from an early age. So after graduating BU in 1998 with a BA in Astronomy and Physics, he decided to combine the best of his talents and training and pursue a career in web design and development.

Chris became employed at Leary & Tiziani, Inc. (LT), a business-to-business advertising agency catering to Boston-area industrial and bio-tech clients. What began as a short-term engagement, quickly became a full-time position. And shortly thereafter he was promoted to Manager of Internet Development. At LT Chris worked with a number of global electronics, industrial, and bio-technology firms such as Hitachi, Invensys, Foxboro, and Biotage. In addition to designing and programming for numerous web-based projects, he also developed several trade-show kiosk presentations and CD-ROM Flash-based and QuickTime-based multimedia projects. Chris worked directly with the agency's Creative Director and senior Art Director, reported to the company's Senior VP, worked with several Account Managers and PR Directors, interfaced directly with clients, and interviewed, trained, and managed web department staff.

After over two years at LT Chris was tapped in 2000 by MirageQuest, Inc. (MQ), a Hollywood production studio, to manage their internet projects. As Director of Internet Development he redesigned their entire corporate identity, completely redeveloped the company's web site, and set up live web streaming capabilities from the studio's green screen production stage. He also designed and developed a number of high profile web sites for several Los Angeles based clients including The Carriage Museum and VegTV, the latter of which was featured on CNN. After a year at MQ, Chris' creative involvement grew and he was promoted to Creative Director. In that capacity he continued developing internet projects and also acted as senior designer of 3D virtual sets, senior operator of the ORAD virtual set green screen system, and served as Associate Producer on a number of music video projects. Chris also developed several pilot concepts for TV, Film, and web-based entertainment programming.

After over two years at MQ, Chris joined start-up Los Angeles production company Infinite Light Productions (ILP) as Creative Director. At ILP, Chris oversaw all on-air graphics and video editing for all of ILP's video projects. He directly managed a team of editors and oversaw all production deadlines. He also designed numerous show logos and graphics packages. Chris also became involved with high end motion capture technology through ILP's flagship project, Cita's World, a high profile show that aired 6 days a week on BET (the behind-the-scenes production of which was featured on ABC's Nightline). For Cita's World, Chris puppeteered the 3D digital character facial expressions, designed and implemented the characters clothing textures and show graphics, and operated the ORAD virtual set rendering system. He also oversaw post-production, motion capture data cleaning, and character animation.

In 2003, Chris joined the Los Angeles-based IT consulting firm of Faye, Pollack & Associates, Inc (FPA). Based in Encino, FPA is one of Los Angeles' leading IT, accounting systems, and custom programming consulting firms. Getting back to his web and programming roots, Chris has spent over 4 years working to help grow and expand the company's web services and capabilities. Chris reports directly to the company's COO and wears several hats as Senior Web Project Manager, Senior Designer, Web Developer, and SEO Consultant. At FPA Chris has designed, developed, and managed numerous web sites and web-based applications for many high-profile LA-area businesses. Clients include major investment, business management, financial management, law, CPA, tech, business consulting, and logistics firms.

Chris has also successfully managed FPA's marketing design needs and has designed a huge array of marketing materials, from business cards and postcard mailers, to full-color brochures and press kits. Chris also designed the logo, product branding, marketing, and CD-ROM demos for the launch of FPA Software, a new division of the company focused on selling accounting and business management software to several vertical markets.

In addition to Chris's extensive design work, he also serves as FPA's senior web project manager, managing all web site projects and .NET web-based applications. In this client-facing role, Chris routinely meets with existing & prospective clients, generates initial design/programming requirements & project scopes, develops project estimates & implementation plans, manages budgets, ensures successful development milestones, evaluates technologies & software, and coordinates all client communications, site/application testing, & final implementation.
